  • Candidates who scored 120 and above in UTME are eligible to apply. 

O LEVEL S. S. C. E. REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
1. For Science Courses/Students – Must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any other subjects from the following: Geography, Physics, Statistics, and Economics etc. relevant to the Course of choice.

2.   For Arts – must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics /Business Methods/Commerce/Principles of Accounts/ Accounting, and any other two from the following: Literature in English, History/Government, Statistics, Geography, Office Practice/ Secretarial Studies and any one Science Subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science)

B. Or Candidates who have successfully completed the Preliminary /Remedial Studies of the Institution

How to Apply ANSPOLY Post-UTME Screening Form

Qualified candidates are advised to generate RRR number from remita website and pay the sum of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) through REMITA platform in any commercial bank. Thereafter, proceed with the Remita printout to complete the online application form at the polytechnic website, www.anspoly.edu.ng/portal

COST OF ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM FOR THE VARIOUS PROGRAMMES
1. National Diploma ND – N 2,000.

Prospective students may apply for the on-going programmes, by making a deposit of the programme application fee via E-TRANZACT PLATFORM at any commercial bank around you, and make sure you wait to receive your printout slip which you will use the details within to process your desired programme.

Prospective Students /Candidates are advised to visit the Polytechnic website http://www.anspoly.edu.ng to complete the application /registration and for other details.

For ANSPOLY National Diploma ND Programmes, prospective students /candidates who did not choose the Institution in their Jamb school are eligible to apply

Candidates are advised to pay for any of their chosen programmes at any commercial bank using e-tranzact platform and print out the generated data/form

They are to use the printed form to visit the Polytechnic website, http://www.anspoly.edu.ng at any cyber cafe or at the Polytechnic ICT Center at the Polytechnic Permanent Site, Mgbakwu and complete the admission application form online.

Candidates are advised to fill their data correctly and ensure that the completed form is submitted correctly and completely

They are advised to print out the supplied and completed information generated after submission on the portal before logging out

UNICAL Final Year Student Killed By Armed Robbers

A young man, Joseph Ita Archibong who is said to be a final year student of University of Calabar (UNICAL) has been reported dead following injuries sustained from a gun shot during an Armed robbery attack at his residence.



It was gathered that the armed robbers attacked the house located at 22 Duncan Street in Calabar at about 2am. Joseph was said to have engaged in a struggle with one of the robbers who was masked without knowing that one other one was at his back. He was reportedly shot by the one at his back which led to serious injuries,

He was rushed to a nearby hospital afterwards but no much help could come and he eventually gave up the ghost after 4 days in the hospital.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Irene Ugbo has confirmed the incident, adding that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The deceased will be buried on the 4th May at Etak Ukana, in Akwa Ikot Effanga in Akpabuyo LGA.

OAU Shut Down By Osun State Government Over Alleged N1.8bn Tax Evasion

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been reportedly shot down by the Osun Internal Revenue Service for its failure to remit over N1.844,770,939.45 to the agency.



The institution was shut by officials of the Revenue Task Force who arrived the campus at about 7:00 on Wednesday morning.

It was gathered that the officials first sealed the Senate Chamber and the administrative building before proceeding to seal the main gate, leaving the pedestrial gate unlocked.

When contacted, the school mangemnt through the Public Relation officer siad the debt was inherited from the past administration of the institution. He however stated that the issue will soon be resolved with the State Government.

Note: A refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only will be made to graduands on return of the Academic Gown.
Academic Gown should be returned immediately, after the Ceremony OR latest by Monday, 28th May, 2018, after which the refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira [N2,000:00] only, will be paid to graduands at the Bursary on the presentation of clearance, obtained at the Faculties;
Any graduand who holds on to the academic attire beyond “Monday, 28th May, 2018“, will be liable to a fine of Five Hundred Naira [N500:00] only, for each day of default.
Also, any graduand who loses OR damages the academic attire would pay a sum of Ten Thousand, Three Hundred Naira [N10,300;00] only as replacement fee.
Postgraduate Graduands [Ph.D Only) are required to pay a sum of Thirty- Five Thousand(N35,000:00) Naira only, into the above account number for procuring the University Academic Gown.
First degree graduands are to move the tassels of their caps from right to left at a point during the ceremony, when the Vice Chancellor declares; “I admit you all”. This signifies their admission into the body of Graduates of Lagos State University (LASU).
Higher degree recipients should put on their caps, with the tassels placed at the left hand side, since they already have their first degrees.
ALL graduands should seek the assistance of Faculty Officers to ensure that the hood and cap are properly worn, with the tassels (cords) of the cap positioned to the right.
Female graduands are expected to show courtesy when they shake hands with the Vice-Chancellor, while male graduands bow, but should NOT remove their caps.
Parents/Guardians and Invited Guests are advised to be seated NOT later than 9.00 a.m. on each day.

Graduands are to Join the Convocation Procession by 9.30a.m.
Graduands in each Faculty are expected to be seated in the sections provided for them in the University Auditorium Complex.
  • The Convocation package comprising:
  • Convocation brochure (I copy each)
  • Academic Gown; AND
  • Leather Certificate Folder
Will be given to graduands by their “respective Faculty Officers OR Secretary to the Postgraduate School, for Higher Degrees as the case may be:
Unauthorized movements and taking of photographs will not be allowed during the Convocation Ceremonies.
Graduands are therefore advised in their own interest to complete such activity before coming into the University Auditorium OR wait till after the ceremony.
Any graduand who leaves his/her seat while the ceremony is on will NOT be allowed to return to the Auditorium.
This is to ensure Orderliness during the Convocation Ceremonies.
Graduands and invited Guests under the canopy outside the Auditorium are requested to be orderly and rise to their feet as the Academic Procession enters AND leaves the Convocation venue.
Graduands should be properly robed; and are also advised to conform to the colour prescribed for their Faculties.
All graduands are required to immediately commence and complete the process of their clearance in their respective College/Schools/Faculties before the ceremony, in order to facilitate the collection of their degree certificates on the day of Convocation.

CRUTECH Latest News To Candidates With Admission Issues

This is to inform all prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates, who have completed change of Institution to Cross River University of Technology and those intending to change to CRUTECH but are having difficulties in processing their admissions to report in the main campus of the University in Calabar from Monday, 8th January, 2018. Time: 9am each day.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BIDA WEEKEND PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

  1. Candidates for HND Programmes should possess good National Diploma (ND) in relevant field, awarded by Federal Polytechnic, Bida or any other Polytechnic or College of Technology accredited for the award of such National Diploma by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). In addition, the candidates should possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Candidates for National Diploma (ND-II Special) Programmes should possess Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
  3. Candidates for National Diploma Programmes should possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
  4. Candidates for Diploma in Microfinance Management should possess a minimum of MERIT in Certificate in Microfinance Management OR a minimum of five (5) credits in the relevant subjects at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings OR any other similar or suitable qualification.
  5. Candidates for Certificate in Microfinance Management should possess a minimum of four (4) passes in the relevant subjects at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
  6. Candidate for Diploma in Law should possess a minimum of five (5) credit in the relevant subjects at O’Level including English LANGUAGE AND Mathematics in not more than two (2) sitting.
  7. Concessional Admission may be granted to candidate(s) with less than five (5) credits and will be expected to sit and pass his/her O’Level before graduation.

DURATION OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BIDA WEEKEND PROGRAMMES.

  1. National Diploma (ND-II Special Programmes) WEEKEND shall run for Six (6) semesters. In two (2) years.
  2. The Higher National Diploma (HND I) WEEKEND Programmes shall run for two (2) semesters.
  3. Diploma in Microfinance Management shall run for three (3) semesters, while Certificate in Microfinance Management shall run for two (2) semesters, both in one (1) year.
  4. Lectures for WEEKEND shall be conducted during Weekends (Fridays and Saturdays).

HOW TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC BIDA WEEKEND PROGRAMMES ADMISSION.

STEP 1:  Visit the application portal (www.fedpolybida.edu.ng).
STEP 2:  Register (New users only) using your personal E-mail address.
STEP 3: Check your email INBOX or SPAM to retrieve your login account.
STEP 4:  Revisit the apply portal and log in with your account, E-mail and password.
STEP 5: Click Submit and follow the rest of the guide in the portal.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: All applicants must purchase the Polytechnic Admission Form online by using different options of payment as described on the portal, and pay a sum of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00) only (Excluding transaction charge) to the Federal Polytechnic, Bida. All payments options of REMITA (i.e using MASTER, VERVE and VISA ATM cards and generation of RRR to pay cash in the bank) must be made through the application portal only. After which, the link to fill form would be deactivate.
